The Brain Performance Institute is having its grand opening this Thursday.
Most people only stop to think about the health of their brain when something goes wrong with it, but the Brain Performance Institute is on a mission to change that. With the support of UTD’s Center for BrainHealth, the Brain Performance Institute provides research-driven programs and cognitive performance strategies to unlock the brain’s full potential. Its programs help everyone from children to athletes to people on the autism spectrum and those suffering with Alzheimer’s.
Celebrate the grand opening of the Brain Performance Institute on Thursday, October 19. The day-long celebration will begin with a free open house and conclude with an evening reception and lecture.
The open house will include complimentary breakfast and lunch lectures, a tai chi lesson, a yoga class, brain-healthy food demonstrations, mindful meditation, and more. The programs are aimed at showing how neuroscience can be applied in a practical way for everyday life.. Find the full schedule and register here.
The evening reception and lecture will feature Dr. Geoffrey Ling, internationally recognized neurologist, scientist and humanitarian, and Bonnie Pitman, a national leader in the public engagement of art, who will discuss the importance of stimulating your brain with new experiences and ideas each day. Purchase tickets here. Complimentary valet parking available.
